Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia is a city located in west-central peninsular (west) Malaysia. dated back to 1857, when a group of Chinese tin miners founded a settlement in the suburb. Kuala Lumpur became the capital of the independent Federation of Malaya in 1957 and of Malaysia in 1963.
